Mission Statement
Our Goal is to provide a personalized website for a lifetime remembrance of your loved one and to continue Levi Robinson’s legacy of caring for the unwanted, poor and the homeless by donating all profits to that cause.
How the Ministry Originated
Never Forgotten Ministry was developed after the tragic loss of Kim Robinson’s son, Levi Zachary Robinson. Levi departed this life in a motorcycle accident on September 17, 2010. He was 24 years old. First and foremost, Levi was a devout Christian who lived and devoted his life to the Lord. He was a very unique individual who touched the hearts and souls of anyone who met him. The site was developed to allow those who loved him most a place to mourn, as well as pay tribute by sharing what Levi meant to them during his short time here on earth.
Levi lived for a brief period in Colorado Springs in a very low-income neighborhood. He barely made enough money for his own living expenses. Yet, he managed to take what little he had to buy bread, lunch meat, and soda to feed and minister to the homeless in the local park. Some days he would simply walk the streets in search of the down and out. This was his life’s passion, as well as his mission.
One day while back in Florida, Kim observed Levi giving money to a panhandler. This upset Kim. He immediately asked Levi why he did that. Levi told him that Christ wanted us to care for the poor. Kim then explained his belief that Levi was only enabling the poor to remain poor by giving them money. He felt that they should get a job like everyone else. Levi then asked him, “How often do you give to other people?” Kim was caught off guard by that question and explained that he often helped family and friends in need. Levi then explained to Kim that Christ encouraged us to help those we did not know; it was easy to help family and friends. Kim continued to disagree until Levi said something that left him speechless. Levi said, “Dad, when I care for the homeless, not only do I help the people who are hungry and in need of love; but it helps to soften my own heart.” Two weeks after this discussion, Levi went to be with his Heavenly Father. Levi was truly a man after Christ’s own heart. He knew how to love; he saw no age, no color. He only saw the person’s heart and everyone that knew him believed this.
Two days before Levi’s funeral, one of Kim’s closest friend and his wife, Craig and Terri Love, were seeking ways to console him. The Love family had lost their only daughter, Kelly Love, in an automobile accident 5 years earlier. These friends said something that touched Kim’s heart more than anyone could, or ever would, to help him through his darkest hours. They told him that their son, Rylan Love, was in the process of building a personalized website to honor Levi’s music, his photos, videos, his memories, condolences left, and more.
Kim states, “I simply cannot put into words what it means having this website totally and permanently dedicated to my son, Levi. It is one of the very few things that brings comfort to me and helps to ease some of the pain. I visit Levi’s website each and every day.”
Never Forgotten Ministry, Inc./Kim Robinson, President
Never Forgotten Ministry, Inc. was developed to offer personalized websites to comfort others who have lost a loved one. It is a non-profit organization whose proceeds further promote Levi’s goal of caring for the homeless. Kim made a promise to Levi, during his eulogy, that he would try to become more like him and that he would try to follow in Christ’s footsteps as well. Never Forgotten Ministry, Inc. is the first step in that direction.
